NOT ALL BMC ARE CREATED EQUAL: We remove a larger section of the mount than others. We use 12 Guage Steel and Cut the mount well beyond the body kick panel with a slanted approach giving you the ability to run 35" Tires with the proper lift and wheel combination. This extra cutting requires more fab time and welding than simply "nicking off" the face corner as many do.
We clear 3 key areas on your truck to provide added clearance for tires.
A. The front body mount is chopped back beyond the body panel and we use a 12 Gauge metal tab keeping the factory mount to its maximum strength. See area "A" on illustration picture attached.
B. The Pinch Weld is folded over and cleaned up from below body curve to just below the lower inner fender mount. See area "B" on illustration picture attached.
C. Inner fender and plastic fender-well is trimmed on the inside to allow for maximum clearance when tire is turned. NOTE: We trim a standard amount as per illustration "C", More can be done at any time.

This is our Standard Body Mount Chop for the front driver and and passenger side front most mount under the A-Pillar. This is a modification which requires cutting and removal of the front most side of the factory mount. We then add one of our CRO Brackets to insure the strength is returned.
This mod provides about 1.25" additional clearance for those tires.
